From August 22nd to 31st, Barbados will be hosting CARIFESTA XV, the 15th edition of the Caribbean Festival of Arts. The  event is the region's largest and most prestigious cultural showcase. With the theme "Caribbean Roots, Global Excellence," CARIFESTA XV will celebrate the deep cultural ties of the region while highlighting its increasing global influence in creative industries. The festival takes place across various venues in Barbados

The festival's program features a wide range of activities for all to enjoy. Attendees can look forward to four “Super Concerts” featuring top regional and international artists, as well as the CARIFESTA Film Festival, which includes outdoor screenings. Fashion enthusiasts can catch daily shows and couture exhibitions. The Grand Market & Trade Hub, spanning over 45,000 square feet, will be the largest in CARIFESTA history and will feature five zones: Fashion, Home & Décor, Wellness, Literature, and Gourmet Foods. The Caribbean Eat Street, located within the Grand Market, will have 24 food booths offering a diverse range of regional cuisines.

CARIFESTA XV is more than just a festival; it's a "roving cultural summit" that brings together artists and innovators from over 25 participating countries, including international delegations from Ghana, Brazil, Colombia, and Cuba. The event is designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating features like solar energy, digital waste reduction, and eco-conscious design. Whether you're a culture lover, a creative, or an entrepreneur, CARIFESTA XV offers a vibrant and immersive experience for everyone.
