Carambola Cottage is a villa in Sunset Crest, Holetown, Barbados, with 3 bedrooms. It suits families and groups who want a relaxed base close to the beach. The pool is 48 inches deep, so children have room to play, and access to the Beach Club is included. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. The space

Carambola Cottage is a newly built villa in the Sunset Crest neighbourhood. Restaurants, cafes, a grocery store and a shopping mall are within walking distance, so you can leave the car parked for much of your stay.

The open plan living room is where you can settle in front of the 55-inch TV. The dining room next to it seats 8 and opens onto the patio, which makes it easy to eat outside when the weather is good.

The full kitchen suits anyone who likes to cook, and there is a small charcoal BBQ in the garden for cooking outdoors.

There are two master bedrooms, each with a king bed and its own bathroom. One bathroom has a rain shower and the other has a tub. The first master also has a walk-in closet with a safe. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and its own bathroom, which suits children or friends sharing.

The large garden is planted for some privacy. You can sunbathe on the loungers by the pool, or take a break in the shade on the patio.

Linen, bath towels and beach towels are provided. A laundry room with a washer and dryer is also there for your use.

  • The pool is not fenced, so please keep an eye on anyone who may need supervision near it.
  • Please close and lock all windows and doors at night and whenever you are out.
  • Security lights are on sensors and come on automatically. The switches are marked "do not use" for this reason.
  • Outdoor Nest cameras cover the kitchen door, the pool and patio, and the back door and rear gate. They help keep the property secure for everyone.
  • Press the button on the kitchen door camera if you need to reach us.
  • We will check in with you on the day you arrive, or the next morning if your flight is late. Our mobile numbers are in the guest booklet for questions or emergencies.
  • If we cannot meet you, we will send instructions for key access from the wall-mounted lock box.
  • Weekly housekeeping washes the towels and bedding during her visit.
  • Parking is available for 3 cars.
  • Highway 1, the main West Coast Road, is a 3-minute walk away for buses to all destinations.
  • A hire car makes most Barbados holidays easier. We can recommend a company that delivers to the villa or the airport.
