Sandy Lane, Heronetta

Heronetta stands in four acres of mature tropical garden on a long stretch of Sandy Lane Beach. A mahogany-lined driveway leads you up to the main house, where the staff will welcome you.

The main house has an open courtyard with a fishpond, a good spot for a morning coffee. Breakfast is prepared by your private cook and served in the outside dining room. The open-plan living and formal dining area has large sliding doors, so cool breezes come through and you can look out to the Caribbean Sea.

There are five double bedrooms, all air-conditioned and each with an en suite bathroom. Two are in the main house. The other three are in self-contained cottages set in the gardens around it, which gives groups some extra privacy.

Outside, you can swim in the private pool, play tennis in the evening under lights, or eat dinner al fresco in the separate dining gazebo. The wide garden has room for up to 30 people, which works well for yoga and wellness retreats or celebration dinners.

Your private cabana at the Sandy Lane Property Owners Beach Club is a two-minute walk along the beach. Sandy Lane Golf Course is a five-minute drive away, with Royal Westmoreland and Apes Hill close by.
