The space

Sapphire Beach sits on Barbados's South Coast and overlooks the white sand and sea of Dover Beach. Apartment 505 is a penthouse, so you get the view from the top.

The living area is a roomy place to settle in for a film or some music. It opens straight on to the dining patio, so meals can move outdoors and you can enjoy the views while you eat. The kitchen is modern and works well for cooking your own meals.

The apartment has three bedrooms, and this listing gives you the use of two. Once you choose your two, the third is locked off. The master bedroom and bedroom 2 are both generous in size, and each has its own en suite bathroom, so everyone gets their own space. If you ever need the third bedroom, which has a full bathroom across the hall, ask us about the three-bedroom option.

When you want a change of scene, the two community pools and the fitness centre are on site. A maid visits three half days a week.
