Godings Beach House

The villa sits in 1.2 acres of tropical gardens that lead down to the sea. Inside, pale limestone floors and clean lines keep things calm and uncluttered.

The main living area is open-air and not air-conditioned. Sea breezes cool it, and you look out over the water as you relax. Meals come from the main kitchen, and your private chef can plan menus around your tastes using the separate chef's kitchen. Breakfast and lunch are easy to enjoy outside on the shaded terraces.

Five en-suite bedrooms are in the main house and open onto a sea-facing terrace. Each has a spa-style bathroom. The master suite has a freestanding tub and floor-to-ceiling views over the gardens to the sea. Some of the guest bedrooms can be set up as twin beds, which works well for families.

The sixth bedroom is in a separate guest cottage on the east side of the property. It gives extra privacy and suits guests who want their own space or travelling staff.

On quieter days you can read in the glass-walled study or watch a film in the media room. Outside, the 25-metre mosaic-lined pool is ideal for swimming laps or cooling off, and the sea is just beyond the gardens.
