Mango Bay is a 7-bedroom beachfront villa in St. James, Barbados, between Holetown and Speightstown. It suits families and groups of friends who want a quiet, private stay by the Caribbean Sea. The space
Mango Bay is a colonial-style coral stone house designed by Oliver Messel. It sits in tropical gardens beside a quiet beach.
The formal living room opens onto a patio. This is a good spot to sit with a drink and look over the gardens to the sea. Paths from the house lead to a dining gazebo by the water and to a lily pond.
For meals, the dining pavilion has a coral stone table that seats fourteen and looks over the pool and garden. A staff kitchen on the property is mainly used by the housekeeping and chef team, and you are welcome to use it too.
The main house has six bedrooms. Three king bedrooms are upstairs, including the owners' master suite. Downstairs, Bedroom 4 has two twin beds. Bedroom 5 has a king bed that can be set up as two twins. The Nanny's room has a single twin bed and suits a child or a member of your staff party.
The cottage on the southern lawn has two more king bedrooms, which gives guests extra privacy. Each of the seven bedrooms has its own bathroom.
There is also a library for quieter moments.
