Elsewhere is a ten-bedroom villa in the Sandy Lane Estate, on the West Coast of Barbados. It suits large families and groups of friends. The villa sits on a two-acre ridge, so you wake to green monkeys in the garden and end the day watching the sunset. Sandy Lane Owners Beach Club is a 5-minute drive away. The space
Elsewhere sits on a ridge in the Sandy Lane Estate, set among gardens with views over the sea. The breeze moves through the courtyards, patios, loggias, balconies and terraces, so there is always a shady spot to sit.
The main house has two wings with six en suite bedrooms, which suit couples or friends sharing the house. Downstairs you will find a living room, a kitchen, a covered patio and a courtyard. The loggia and bar overlook the front and back gardens, and it is where most groups gather for a drink in the evening.
The pool house has two en suite bedrooms above a large lounge and bar beside the pool. It works well for guests who like to be close to the water, or for a family that wants a little space of its own.
The garden cottage has a living room and two en suite bedrooms. It opens onto a private lawn and a mahogany grove, which makes it a quiet choice for a second family or guests who like privacy.
Your days can be as busy or as relaxed as you like. The villa manager and concierge can suggest activities and help you plan them. Chef Debra and the staff can also look after meals, drinks, laundry and massage bookings.
